I discovered my passion for cooking because it allowed me to explore the place I was in by asking questions. For me, traditional cuisine is like a puzzle, where each piece has a logical reason for being there, just like every ingredient of a dish. The social culture of an area and its dishes can be influenced by land use, geography, history, and commercial exchanges.

I never thought I would be "teaching" cooking classes; to me, it sounds pretentious. But just like my grandmother passed it on to me, I started to pass it on to others...and slowly found myself giving cooking classes in Milan at the Cookandine Venue. I began to structure the classes like an afternoon in my grandmother's kitchen, replicating the steps I went through as a child, which still structures my professional life today.

People from all over the world passed by my kitchen and, on their way, took a bite of experience back home. Knowing that what I have learned allows anybody to cook and learn more about our traditional heritage is rewarding.
